Here is one way to make it come true — Keep it Simple

Waisted Time

I am the best and worst example of someone who constantly misplaces their cell phone.

For over a decade, I was very frustrated.

Then, I had a technical epiphany; now, I may never misplace one again.

If you constantly need to remember or often lose your cell, I can help you, too.

First, some background:

Before cell phones, there were hardwired landline telephones.

Most residences had only one line that was always in a familiar place.

Some people had multiple phones, which were also hardwired at a commonplace within the house.

Eventually, cell phones replaced landline telephones but were generally in familiar places until Wi-Fi networks made them much more portable.

People could then use cell phones anywhere in the house or outside on the deck, in the garage, etc.

Keep it Simple

And busy people (like me) began needing to remember where they put them down.

Wi-Fi network technology advancement led to many misplaced phones.

There are many places to misplace a cell phone

My solution is as follows:

Re-establish a few cell phone resting locations in your house; never put your cell phone down anywhere else.

My three specific locations:

1. Near a computer so I can recharge

2. In my bedroom, on a table beside the bed

3. In my bathroom so I can soak or shower without running to answer

Once you have designated cell phone locations in your residence or office space, managing cell phones in vehicles is essential. One can use a Memory Aid at the door before heading for the vehicle. The same Memory Aids can be used inside a building or in a vehicle.

The posting location is to the left of the existing place card.

The graphic’s location is essential.

The best location in a vehicle is on the driver’s side front window sun visor.

The graphic location or size does not interfere with the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (FMVSS) for sun visor place cards.

The graphic will be placed to the left of the Federal Warning place card.

Once they open the door, the driver sees the memory aid place card and, at this time, can determine if they have their cell phone.

If they forget their cell phone, they can get it and then travel safely and securely, knowing it will be available should they need it in an emergency.

The kit includes five graphic place cards covering one residence and one vehicle.

Do not waste any more time — live smart

Don’t forget to get yours soon.
